Rosie Andrew
swift leisure
I’m Rosie, an administrator within the Learning and development team at Swift Group. I started at the company as an apprentice after college. Despite being accepted into universities, I decided that route wasn’t for me. The offer from Swift allowed me to enter the working world whilst still gaining qualifications. Being amongst a strong team has allowed me to flourish, and with their friendship and support I have been able to forge a niche position in the company.
One highlight for me, whilst an apprentice, was bringing to fruition a family Christmas event across multiple weekends for our staff and their families to enjoy. Seeing everyone enjoy the hard work that went into the event was rewarding and has encouraged me to continue expanding my role after the completion of my apprenticeship.
I love to be around my family, friends and dog. Spending my free time socialising and seeing the world.

James Legal
I am a trainee solicitor at James Legal Solicitors, working in the
Corporate/Commercial and Litigation department, and I have been working at James Legal for almost 3 years. I am currently completing the ‘Solicitors Qualifying Examination’ course, and I passed the first exams which I took in January, ranking in the first quintile. I am due to complete my final exams in August of this year, and if I pass the exams, I will qualify as a solicitor in November.
I have loved completing my training at James Legal, and I have been supported by my colleagues in order to develop my skills, knowledge and confidence in the law.
During my training, I have gained valuable experience in Litigation, including in completing advocacy, and I regularly attend hearings in Court. I am looking forward to the final step towards becoming a Solicitor after many years of exams.
